Evaluation of the blog experience

It is the most surprising, and perhaps difficult, blog that I face so far. What do you think? Before this course, he certainly wrote his own texts, although they did not correspond to established academic or scholarly duties. I wrote texts because I wanted to do it, I love doing it and they manage to learn things there. Initially I had my doubts about this type of evaluation. Write in a language that I do not use at all, with topics that are not of my complete satisfaction. In short, to comply with certain rules that I did not contemplate in my previous writings. I was afraid that they were badly written or that they were inappropriate or did not make sense. Little by little, that was fading. I was writing more calm, more relaxed, even enjoying the experience a little. I have the perception that this type of evaluations facilitates the learning of a language. Potatos, a great food

One of my favorite foods is potatoes. Of name solanum tuberosum, it has a curious history regarding its diffusion and popularity. When the Spanish people arrived in America, they found, among other things, the crops of a new tuber, which amazed them and ended up exporting to Europe, where they had a more botanical than nutritional interest. Over the years, society has seen how the potato has become an easy plant to grow, because it has not needed great tools, very special soil conditions or a great technique, so it was incorporated, first between farmers and then among the Nobles, as an essential element in the daily diet. Potatoes can be eaten and prepared in different ways and for different types of foods. It can be simply cooked, incorporating it with salads, meats, among others. Is migration a threat or an advantage?

The issue of migration is currently controversial. My interest in this object of study arises from the opinions divided as to whether it is a contribution or a threat. In terms of public policies, it is no less important. And that this topic is used in technical discussions and policies assigns more relevance. Some people believe that immigrants have negative consequences on the values ​​and culture of the receiving country. Career-related website

To study or perform tasks I use applications or sites such as Scielo, Wikipedia, Google and the Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional. All equally useful. I will stay with this last. The Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional is a service that has been arranged by the Congreso (Senado and Cámara de Diputados) with two purposes. First, it allows senators and deputies to have access to different legal archives, such as laws or books, that facilitate discussion about the laws that are proposed and voted. Second, citizens have an affordable and complete source of chilean laws, with all its components (spirit, modifications, articles). This page has helped me with those jobs that involve knowing the normative frameworks of a public policy, having certainty of what the public official can do or not, knowing more about a law that affects me in everyday life or simply knowing about a law out of curiosity So, I highly recommend having this site cost for jobs that require laws.

My favorite writer

I admire several writers, and some have been significant in my life. But I must highlight one. His name is Umberto Eco. Umberto Eco was born in 1932 in an Italian town called Alessandria. He was a novelist, semiotic, philosopher and essayist. We can speak of him as a novelist, as a philosopher and as an essayist. Its influence comes mainly from the called group of 63, which, along with other intellectuals, was a literary avant-garde movement that developed a certain affinity with the mass media. However, many of his articles openly criticize their role or even the internet. My last trip

Honestly, I love travel, for vacations or for the pleasure of travel. I have always lived in Santiago and, in addition, rarely mi family had the possibilities to travel, because we haven’t car. However, since I was a child we have gone to the beaches of the Central Zone. One of those places (and my favorite) is Valparaiso. This picture is from the last time I went there, a two weeks ago. World Heritage Site, every time I go through it I discover something, and I love, therefore, getting lost in one of its hills. Specifically, the picture corresponds to a panoramic view of the city while touring Cerro Barón. What more can I say? Do not stay alone with this image. Every corner of this hill and the city can offer an excellent picture and, in this case, a portrait of everyday life. P.D. I don't like the selfies or photos with me. So, for this reason I don't appear.

My favorite TV series

I should say that I don’t watch many series, but I have principally two favorites series (I can’t choice one only, sorry): The Simpsons, available in the Fox channel, open television or diverse websites in the internet and always I’m looking some episode from their thirty seasons. I like this series because their plot, the daily life of an American family which lives in United States of America, represents elements, stereotypes and critics of American culture and lifestyle. Also, this series contains multiple popular references and, comically, their episodes, dialogues and scenes can be used for many situations of real life. I know, The Simpsons is an animated series and, in consequence, don’t have actors and, also, have few songs. Even dubbings have influence on the comprehension of arguments or jokes. The last seasons are, in my opinion, decreasing their level of jokes, dialogues and the relation between episodes. With everything, I will continue watching this series for th...
